GOING OUT WITH MY GIRLS TODAY. thought i’d finally cease the opportunity to pain my face again.
NO FOUNDATION.
NO BB CREAM.
NO CONCEALER.
NO MASCARA.
NO EYELINER.
Just Garnier Light Oil Control, face powder, my eye shadow palette, blush, highlight and some brushes. woooo
hamana hamana hamana
so there is a 20% chance that i might have to do make up for tribute. since i volunteer to do the boy’s make up, i went shopping for stuff that could help and minimize the work (since boys hate make up).
products used:
Garnier Light Oil Control Whitening Cream
Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream Medium
FFC StayMatte Foundation in 06
pic left: before (eew)
pic mid: without setting the powder
pic right: SHADE IS TOO LIGHT
on my right is the combination between FFC & Revlon.
on my left in the combination between Garnier & Revlon.
why?
Revlon has a build-able light to medium coverage and it’s perfect for my skin tone. however, i have oily skin so its SPF30 does not sit well unless i set it with powder. :| so i tried to mix it with Garnier to see if it could stay longer, less greasy. of course, the amount of Garnier determines the final shade in the end sooooo
FFC on the other hand has a build-able medium to full coverage. i bought this on Zalora in the darkest shade. if you compare it side by side with Revlon, Revlon is actually a shade lighter but when you start applying it on your face it becomes 2 shades lighter. :| so i mixed it with Revlon to see if I could get the matte finish but with the correct shade. meh. same same
in the end, i’d still have to set both sides with powder. the only way i could “save” it during tribute is to get a dark compact powder to contour it a bit. there are quite a number of Indians playing for tribute so i really don’t know how i can pull it off.

Acting is such a personal thing, which is weird because at the same time it’s not. It’s for the consumption of other people. But in terms of creative outlets and expressing yourself, it’s just the most extreme version of that that I’ve ever found.
